Hey guys!
I have been looking at space/heat saving options for my custom box which I am planning for my pc. After reading an article about NAS drives I was wondering whether it would be possible to run programs/games from the NAS box? this will mean I will only require enough space in my custom rig for my SSD. Saving space and reducing heat.
I won’t be expecting to run these programs/games from any other device just my main custom rig. Obviously I will still be using the NAS to share media files etc across multiple devices.
Just wondering whether the Gigabit network connection will affect performance of games etc.
