Funny how so many people were writing off JJ's chances of a sixth title on the bounce....as I type this, he's leading the race and leading the points standings. That team knows how to run the Chase.
That's the sort of thinking that gets drivers who have done most of their racing in Europe into serious trouble the first time they get onto an oval
Different racing surfaces, different banking, different corner radii, different track lengths, different pit entry points....there's a lot that can change from track to track. Yes, a lot of the 1.5 mile speedways (the 'cookie-cutter' tracks) are similar to each other. But there are some real oddballs as well.
Roll on Charlotte. This Chase is coming together nicely!
