My mrs appreciates your stereotyping of her and her entire nation.
She's logistics director for Marks and Spencer UK by the way.

In her opinion, the reason she's done so well in this country is that British workers are lazy and won't put the hours in to make a success. She says she's never had an easier time in work since coming to the UK. She would have put in nearly double the hours in Poland just to stay still.

It's the part of British people who are stereotypical, they just want to believe on what they think is right. UK wouldn't survive for too long without any immigrants, its the sad truth which eastern europe gets blamed for. It's not peoples fault that they want to work and have very good qualifications... :rolleyes:

The funny thing is that bbc called them "terrorist", where as in reality they were muslims. While they with their machetes started to brutally attack the young brit soldier, they were shouting "alakh....".

IC3, what others are tip toeing around basically comes down to this:
When you complain about your regional or cultural group receiving bigoted and xenophobic treatment from small minority of locals, you shouldn't degrade your argument by being xenophobic and bigoted against another regional, ethnic or cultural group within the same community/country!

I understand you don't mean it in racist way, but propping your argument against someone's culture, religion or ethnic background is not that much better than propping it against their skin colour. "I don't like them because they're muslims" might be milder than "I don't like them because they're brown" to some, but in your argument you still leave your potential protagonists to chose between support for two terrible prejudices on the grounds that one bigotry is somehow more justifiable than the other in your eyes.

I don't think you would like your country to change, its culture, mores and forget about everything you've been brought up with.
If someone compares religion to nationality/skin colour, it's their own opinion.
Sorry but no matter what you say it would be very hard for you to convince me to change my views. if I ever have kids, I would rather let them choose and not get harmed in any sort of way because of the choices they've made...
