Had one a while ago, pretty simple. Was given a few scenarios dealing with customers (complaints, regulars etc), had 4 maths questions too - working out interest etc. Also sales oriented questions - how to market products, how to make targets.

Have a pen and some paper handy :p

Expect around £12k to start off with, increasing to £15k once you have been there a few years.

I presume you'll be going in at a level 2. On the next pay scale you would be looking at £13.5k to £16.5k. Anything thing above that is managment level.

I have just realised the figures I gave are before RBSG scrapped their own pension plan. New figures are yet to be announced but expect around 15% increase on those figures.

I can't remember exactly, but Natwest told me that I should expect around 15K starting for Croydon, whereas Lloyds had 12K for central London
