New season a few weeks ago, who is everyone fancying this year?

Cavs look clear East favourites now with Love looking good in pre-season. Bulls could be interesting too if everyone stays fit.

West I'm thinking Clips or Thunder, though you can never discount the Spurs.

Be interesting to see how the T-Wolves develop this year too. Roll on!!

I'm hoping the Clips will get 1st or 2nd seed in the West this year, but it's gonna be tough.

They have a much better squad for when playoff time comes around, but not a lot of flexibility if one of the starting 5 gets injured, so we shall see.

Cavs I think will entirely depend on how the big 3 come together. They've all got to change from what they were doing before (again for LeBron). Personally I hope the Bulls do well, just for the sake of Rose and his confidence. But I can't really see it happening.

Spurs to dominate as usual but will do so in their very reserved 'oh we're leading the league, whatever' fashion.

OKC to go all over the place until Durant returns from injury. Westbrook is not a reliable player or leader.

Bulls to make some noise until (dare I say it) Rose goes down with another injury. Maybe not a seasons ending injury but a significant loss of playing time.

Knicks will be consistently average.

My Rockets - about the same as last year, maybe win a couple less games. Still getting bounced in the 1st round.

Dunno about the rest :p

I don't think it'll be one of the big teams to win ie Thunder, Cavs, Spurs, Clips, Heat etc. I think it'll be a dark horse this year but not too sure who.

Hopefully the Thunder though! :p

Not gonna bother as I find it far too complicated :p

Thinking of doing a nightly competition ala The Starters of picking winners of the nights games and making some sort of overall competition out of it.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not thinking or believing the T-Wolves are world beaters right now but I think they can upset a few in the west this year, would definitely be shocked if they cant make a good playoff run over the next 2 seasons. Lost K Love and a few bench guys but they have picked up the last 2 number 1 draft picks and Thaddeus Young off the back of his best season at the 76ers.

Other than that I'll say what I say every year, it's Chicago's season!! :)

Anthony Davis beast mode!! 26pts, 17rbs, 9 blocks in the season opener

If he breaks out like that all season Pelicans could be about with a shout.

Yeah I think Davis having Asik is gona help him, this is no surprise though, with Davis having another shot blocker on the team it was always gona help him. Asik is non stop and is capable of being huge, definitely on for a break out season so the Pelicans are more than in with a shout for a good playoff run if Eric Gordon, Jrue Holiday and Ryan Anderson can stay fit but they need some experience if they are going to really challenge the likes of the Spurs and the Rockets for the Southwest Division this over the next few years.

Really young quality team, if they can keep the core at the end of the season too then they will be a great candidate to convince some important free agents to help them build next year. Most promising young team in the NBA for sure.

I don't know when you have the TWolves too who are pretty interesting!

I just wish Davis would sort his blinking monobrow out. He's earning millions a year and he can't get a wax!?!?! :p

I'm sure he was trying to get his brow trademarked! :D

Julius Randle out for the season with a broken leg.

Now Westbrook has a small fracture in his hand. That's 6 players injured for them.

The confidence I had the my Thunder were going to be the champs this year looks pretty bleak already. :(
