NBA 2013/2014 Season!

Games have been good but I've just something utterly crazy pop up on twitter!

Steve Ballmer (ex Microsoft!) has won the bidding war to buy the Clippers for a mere 2 BILLION DOLLARS!

Insanity!
 
Only caught the first half but my word! That's how you close out a series in style! After that first quarter the Pacers has no answer. Utter domination by the Heat, amazing play!

Not sure who I want them to face in the finals though - Spurs would be nice to see if they can redeem themselves from last year but then again OKC need a chance to redeem themselves after the 2012 finals too!

Bah! Too much choice for awesome basketball! :D
 
Not sure there's enough reliable talent in Cleveland quite yet, too much heavy lifting imo.

Would be an awesome way to see at a career, go home and bring the 1st championship with you :)
 
They wouldn't! That is stupid. Harden is very good at what he does (misdirect, get to the line, a worthy threat that demands coverage) but he does stink on defense. That can always be worked on if he's willing to put in the effort.

Carmelo is just an older, more arrogant version of Harden and not a worthy upgrade!

Also from what I've heard Leslie Alexander (owner) has a vested interest in adding LeBron, Carmelo or Love to the existing tandem of Howard/Harden!
 
Here we go! Staying up for the first round at the least, I'm going to try and keep some sort of order here and at least post the results!

Mixed reaction for Adam Silver, Boo's for the Cav's who are on the clock!
