NBA Season 15/16

3-3

LeBron is the King, he is the best, Curry is just a second rate pretender who has the benefit of a better team (and a nation not hating him :p)

I hope the Cavs smash them in game 7, I hate the way the NBA is morphing into a small ball, splash bros, 3 point toss odd contest with everyone trying to emulate GSW. I hope the Cavs win and we get back to basketball around the basket!

Also would be history making in 2 ways! :D

I think the Cav's have a good shot - they have arguably the best player in the game right now, Bogut is out and GSW is weak on interior defense by the looks of things!

We're in Vegas just now and were at Buffalo Wild Wings last night and the atmosphere was incredible. Game 7 is going to be an absolute beauty.

We're in Texas on Sunday for game 7. Hopefully Cleveland come out on top!

Congrats to Cavs

Those last four minutes were an incredible choke job from everyone not named Irving, added to the tension but seriously poor play

Silver rightfully booed by every Warriors fan left in the building during the presentations, all respect to Cleveland and I'm sincerely happy for them even as a Lakers fan (I guess I have a weakness for historically transcendental players), but the association really needs to cut back on letting ratings influence punishment decisions - keeping the Warriors in it against OKC by being crazily lenient on Draymond, but then suspending him during the Cavs season just happening to coincide with them going 3-1 up.

Brilliant game 7, collapse at the end aside. Barnes choked away any hope of being able to choose where he goes if he wants a max, can't really see many people offering that right now because people who want a max contract player want a #1 or #2 option, and he's struggled as a #4. Glad to have seen a close game this series.

No he kicked Steve adams in the nads and didn't get banned. He was getting stepped over by Lebron and basically his arm grazed Lebron's leg when he got up to get banned (I get that it's cumulative but that was not a flagrant foul unless you give Lebron one too).

Yeah I just saw. Bulls got kind of shafted there, Calderon is trash, they don't get any cap space just an extra player so it's not like they can use Rose's salary to bring in a star unless they shed a few extra contracts, and RoLo while not bad by any stretch, is past it. Only way this works out is if they get a big FA or two and go win-now mode because Butler+Lopez+Gasol is not a winning big 3, nor is it going to get any better than it is right now with how old RoLo and Pau are.

(For those who haven't seen to save you searching, it's Derrick Rose, Justin Holiday and a 2017 2nd-round pick for Robin Lopez, Jerian Grant and Jose Calderon. Also in another 3-way trade since I'm here, Utah got George Hill, Atlanta got Utah's 12th pick and Indiana got Jeff Teague)

Fair enough Rosw is injury prone but is it such a trash trade for the Bulls, I could have understood if they cleared cap room to make some big FA moves but they haven't even managed that.

Truly baffling trade and I can see it being the end of the Bulls for a good half decade.

Looks like Deng is off to Lakers, Whiteside staying, chewing over a Wade deal with some teams apparently offering multi year at 20 mill. As much as I love Wade that is a huge risk for a player on the decline especially when you saw what Kobe did to the Lakers, tough call especially considering last year was his best in 3-4 years. Bosh hanging over the Heat as well, could be a defining off season.
