NCB question

I currently have 1 vehicle with 1 year NCB.

I've recently purchased another which is SORN.

Basically I need to keep my original on the road until it's sold, however I want to use my NCB on my new insurance policy.

How would this work? I really don't want to have to tell my current insurance company that I'm moving the NCB to another policy as they'd likely charge an admin fee + additional fee for insurance etc.

Thanks

Unless you find an insurer who offers to mirror your NCB you can only use it on one policy at a time. So you'll need to either uninsure the existing car or add the new car as an additional temporary vehicle.

Hmmm that sucks. I'll only have the old car for a few weeks until I sell it, so wanted to avoid having to uninsure/SORN etc.
