I recently purchased a freezone elite from the members market. The pump on it is no were near quiet, it is infact louder than the fan that is rated at 10db higher than it. so I would like some advice on maybe undervolting the pump to quieten it down a bit or some directions to a replacement pump.

My swiftec pump has a speed controller on the back of it, i run it at its lowest setting! its silent but if its knocking against the case it makes a noise! make sure your pump isnt vibrating the case. Try dangerling it and see if that makes a difference

when i was leak testing it i had it sat on foam and it made the same amount of noise, btw which swiftec is it that you have. thanks.

laing d5 turned down to 1 or 2, otherwise 10W laing ddc. Hang it from the tubing if you're using compression fittings.

Either of these need an aftermarket top, such as the ones EK make, to accept normal fittings. There are lots of such tops available.

^You bought the highest pressure pump commonly available. Of course it's loud. Hang it from the tubing and undervolt it using a fan controller that can cope with 18 Watts, can't remember offhand how much you can lower the voltage before it stalls.

i don't think i can hang it from the tubing because i am using a 90 degree fitting at the top and a 45 degree fitting at the bottom.

how would i be able to under volt it, as it connects via a molex
