OK...I have the following
Gigabyte GA- MA 970XT-UDP4 MB
AMD Phenom II 955 X4 3.2 GHZ CPU AM3
Arctic Cooling 7 pro
Sapphire HD5770 512mb
2 x 2gb G-Skill DDR3 1600MHz
Antec tower case
All bought around Dec 2009
The case with its PSU is quality but I mainly use it for browsing, lots of photo post production and some offline gaming, COD and that sort of thing. However in normal use I'm finding that the CPU fan is very noisy. CPU runs at around 44
Question is I could get a quiet CPU cooler and if so which one is recommended ?
Other question as although I am clearly not a heavy user would it be "better" to get an up to date MB and CPU...Intel or AMD and CPU cooler ? Again, if so recommendations bearing in mind my usage and that my current OK rig is 2.5 years old.
