Any one got any further news on this monitor? NEC press release says October 09 for release and it seems like more and more sites are showing this monitor as pre-order inc Dell USA for a price of $415

Should be an interesting rival against the Dell U2410 with its IPS panel

I dont think 16:9 would bother me too much.. its the price point that interests me the most - as long as input lag is decent then i think this will be a much more affordable purchase if they can price it into the £3xx's

Perhaps they are going by actual results rather than the usual fastest.. or perhaps im just trying to remain overly optimistic about this monitor given that I dont really want to spend £450 on the U2410 and dont want the 2209WA

I reckon the 'zero interest' was probably due to the lack of reviews leaving people hesistant to pre-order
