Hi guys. Im currently in the market for a laptop priced 1k or under and was wondering if someone can point me to the best deal. My main priority is obv the graphics card and a decent processor so anything from ati hd 8970 to ge force 770. I really appreciate it if u can point me out to a model.

I recently bought the 13.3" OcUk Piranha laptop, when specced appropriately it comes in at just under £1000

I've tried a few games on it (not just GPU intensive games, but also very CPU intensive games like TF2) and it seems to handle them all pretty well!
If you want any other brand, you'd have to either sacrifice performance or spend a bit more for the same.

In the same boat as I tried to boot my laptop this afternoon and no luck. I've ordered a replacement for the offending part, but really need to look at a replacement. Sadly that laptop quoted above would be more of a netbook over being a laptop. Need something minimum of 15" but would prefer a 17" if I could get one in budget (around the £1k area).

They do larger chassis too in the same range, for around the same price. I mainly got the 13.3" because it's not replacing my desktop (and I wanted something semi-portable, the larger ones are too heavy).
That said, it still has a full 1080p screen which looks awesome
