Need 24" Monitor

yeh i ordered mine when i got home on new years eve (bit of an impulse buy) was hoping it would arrive today but it looks like ill have to wait till monday :(

the one ocuk sell is the one with the HAS stand right?
 
You'll still be able to play it at 800x600, it'll just either stretch to fit so everything's wide, or it'll stretch so you have black bars at either end of the screen (but keep the aspect ratio).
Hope the screen's OK for those of you who have bought it, but with the response time and viewing angle specs it looks very much like a TN panel, which will give you rubbish viewing angles, especially when viewing from low down (i.e. from a bed).
Also, I presume the contrast ratio is a misprint? Most monitors are about a tenth of that!
 
well ive had the monitor for around 2 weeks now and im very pleased with it...the colours are bright and picture quality is quite good although as stated before in the thread viewing angles arent the best but its nothing thats a cause for concern..

anyway ive been having a few problems with magictune..when i go to the the 'color' tab it says that 'color tone' and 'color control' isnt available also i cant adjust the contrast from the monitor itself or using magictune. Everything under the image tab is also 'not available'.

Im guessing this isnt normal, ive done most of the colour,brightness etc etc. settings through my graphics card drivers so its not a big issue but id like to get it working if possible..
