Yeah but cash is much easier and instant.
I hate messing around with cheques and stuff.

CHAPS is same day, you don't even have to go to the bank to do it, it's worth it as it's impossible to tell if for example a car is stolen.

I managed to walk out of there with a fair chunk of money, without a cheque book. Still had to take nearly every other form of ID with me mind, but I managed it.
