Need a basic, easy-to-use site

Hey all,

I'm trying to find a website that has a nice simple look and is easy to use (like google but with more pages)

It's going to be a tutorial site for fresh-from-the-oven n00bs so as easy to use as possible really.

I'll be making the site, just need some layout and colour-scheme ideas

I really wanna say the BBC site to be honest... and the BBC news site. Combines everything you'd want to teach, really.

You could try a wordpress blog which would make it very easy to manage things and for people to make comments.

quite a good idea, the only thing is that it's going to be for people who haven't touched a PC before so was thinking along the lines of nice big buttons or something

i have tried wordpress on some off my other sites (http://usbheaven.blighter.net for example) but same problem as above really

Get some ideas drafted up in photoshop first and get them posted up for any further suggestions.

Php-fusion with a nice theme?

I'd say its easy to navigate, and then you got the forums there so these noobs can ask you questions.

Link in sig to mine, which still needs work when I'm done with other stuff.
