hi all i have a question i am geting my girl friend a tablet for xmas and was wondering whats the best out of the new ipad and the Nook any advice i would be greatfull of thanks to any replys you give me
 
It's called the new iPad, or iPad 3rd Generation.

There is a very good selection of cooking apps on the Apple app store, not that I've used them myself. ;) :p
 
No, it doesn't support Flash, but Flash is being phased out and pretty much all the cooking apps use the built in iOS player, or just link to Youtube as far as I know.

As long as they aren't embedded in a website they should work fine.
 
thats great so you can watch youtube videos menny thanks for your fast replys robbo :) but i have one more question is installing apps easy to do on the ipad my girl friend is not that computer savvy when it comes to installing stuff and she can get very frustrated
 
Yes, it's extremely simple. She'll have no trouble with it.

You just go on the app store, type in/press what sort of thing you want and they all show up in order of popularity, etc.
 
final question will there be deals around xmas regarding the price i was told they do deals around xmas time i have no clue if this is true are not maybe you can shead some light on that thanks again robbo
 
Hm, there may be some deals, perhaps something free with the iPad, like a Smart Cover for example. It's an Apple product though and the prices really don't change much (anywhere) until Apple release the replacement.

I always thought it would be an issue however I've not really noticed the lack of flash.

my favourite porn sites :), iplayer 4od, youtube etc all either jsut work or had an app that works fine
