Whilst there is never any guarantee that non identical kits will run together, 2x1gb and 2x512mb of the same memory should be fine.

Have that exact combo running 4-4-4-12@800 2.00v atm, damn 2gig kit cost less than the 1 gig kit I originally had lol.
