need a box!

i finaly got round to geting my 360 repaired and i need a box to send it in, were do i get one from!

do post offices sell smallish ones, were have people got them from who have sent off their 360s?

I haven't had to send my Xbox back but the post office do sell boxes that you could use.

MS normally send a prepaid UPS box out, but you have to request it...

I thought they stopped doing that ages ago. I kept the one mine came back in, who knows when I'll need it again?

ive done the repair thing online apparently getting an online discount but it still costing £56. ive been sent the shipping label i need to box it up and arrange collection

If you've got any mate's that have had to send theirs back see if they still have the box it was returned in.

alternative to the post office is local super market, they give em away free if ya ask,

empty cornflake box should do if it's family size - you could even leave some cornflakes in for extra protection

went to post office today, got a box, they had ones just to small and then ones way to big, so i now have a giant box with about 8 newspapers in it to stop it moving around.

i didnt no they send 360s to germany to get repaired.

Microsoft sent me a box 3 weeks ago, DHL brought it round .

I sent mine away in the original box, microsoft just sent me the UPS label to put onto it.

got it back in a plain brown one.

in one of the emails they sent with all the details they said dont send it in the 360 box or put microsoft or xbox on it, they must have had packages being stolen

mines in Germany right now, wonder why they have shifted them across channel?, BTW mines was Falcon chipset motherboard, hope they fix the dvd drive also as that was playing up as well, not bad for 4 month old console!

That sucks, it probably works out cheaper for them somehow I would imagine. When my mates bro sent his away he got the motherboard and dvd drive replaced so I would guess they check it all over.

Mine took 2 weeks, I'm pretty sure 20-30 days is more likely though?
