Hello everyone,

I posted the other day about seeking advice although circumstances have changed!

Budget: £1000 (Including Everything)

I will be using this PC mainly for gaming but will like to watch 1080p movies and surf the internet with ease if possible.

Games I would like it to run easy are: Arma3, WoW, RuneScape, CS;GO (Weird game choice I know, I'm a newbie)

I am looking to buy everything from scratch so from having nothing to plugging it all in and playing with no problem.

If anyone will take the time to aid me in the little journey here I would appreciate it very much and any advice/ideas will help along the way!

I hope this is easy to understand as I have limited knowledge on this kind of thing.

Thanks again!

- Joshua

Hmm.. Won't I need a DVD drive so when I purchase games I'll be able to install them? Also what do you mean OS disk files to usb? Do you mean that I'll need to have an operating system on a usb an install that way? If so how will I do that.

Thanks for your time!!

Every game is digital download these days.

If you add a DVD drive then you can install the OS from that, otherwise copy the files from the disk on to a USB drive (using another PC) and install from the USB drive just like you would using the DVD disk.

Ok sounds brilliant, what would your opinion be on this rig? Is it a good starter PC that will run the games like Arma3, WoW, RuneScape, CS;GO?

Just buy a DVD drive then, they are £15.

Its just that they are becoming less and less common to use.

And you are sure you can build it? if not search YouTube and you will find millions of videos showing how to build a PC.

I have built a very basic desktop before and was quite simple.
I don't think I'll have any problems but if I did could I just take it to any computer shop and they'll put together?

Sorry to highjack but I was about to post requesting the same build. Back in September, when I was going to buy, my funding dried up.
As this build is idea, I'd just like to ask two questions.

What CPU cooler would you recommend? Looking to OC.

Would the GPU support 3 monitors for DCS A-10C, FSX and ArmA3?

This is currently a good performance per ££ cooler - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-010-BQ&groupid=701&catid=2330&subcat=2340

Yes the card does support Eyefinity (3 screens wid etc) but as for actual in game performance I cant say.

Thanks.
Just read the new round of GPUs are due out in a few weeks. May wait for the price drop and go for a 290. Worth the wait?
