Old school hiphop like NK mentioned. The Roots, Tribe Called Quest etc.

Maybe delve into some Trip-Hop, Massive Attack, Portishead maybe?

If you fancy some guitars in the music, try something like Bloc Party, Arctic Monkeys or We Are Scientists, all good bands, Arctic Monkeys + W.A.S are more fun, but Bloc Party are a little different - awesome, though.
