Right guys, mate of a mate wants a computer built.

They've seen "around" the £400 mark and i've got a 250gb hard drive and 9800GT that they can use.

They want it for general desktop use and a bit of WOW lol

They are requesting dual core and i think 4gb ram should be enough.

They will also need a monitor, which i think 20"-22" should be more than sufficient.

What can you all recommend. I want to try and make some money from my 250gb hdd and graphics card if i can :)

Thanks,

Andy

Ideally Id go for this

Samsung T220 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor £132.99 (£115.64)
AMD Phenom II X2 Dual Core 550 3.10GHz Black Edition (Socket AM3) - Retail £77.99 (£67.82)
G.Skill Ripjaw 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C8 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (F3-12800CL8D-4GBRM) £67.99 (£59.12)
Asus M4A785TD-M Evo AMD 785G (Socket AM3) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard £67.99 (£59.12)
OCZ ModXStream Pro 500w Silent SLI Ready Modular Power Supply £52.99 (£46.08)
Coolermaster Elite 335 Case - Black (No PSU) £32.99 (£28.69)
Sony Optiarc AD-7241S 24x DVD±RW SATA Lightscribe Optical Drive (Black) - OEM £18.99 (£16.51)
Total: £451.93

If the £400 is strict though look at this

Dell IN2010N 20" Widescreen LCD Monitor £104.98 (£91.29)
AMD Athlon II X2 Dual Core 250 3.00GHz (Socket AM3) - Retail £59.00 (£51.30)
Asus M4A785D-M Pro AMD 785G (Socket AM3) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard £57.99 (£50.43)
OCZ ModXStream Pro 500w Silent SLI Ready Modular Power Supply £52.99 (£46.08)
Patriot Viper 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 PC2-8500C5 Dual Channel (PVS24G8500ELKN) £49.99 (£43.47)
Coolermaster Elite 335 Case - Black (No PSU) £32.99 (£28.69)
Sony Optiarc AD-7241S 24x DVD±RW SATA Lightscribe Optical Drive (Black) - OEM £18.99 (£16.51)
Total: £376.94

Or you can obviously go with something in the middle, maybe use first monitor with 2nd tower for example
