Need a CPU cooler

i dont think my hyper 212+ is anything special at all,i'm gonna order some bolt thru kit for sckt 1155 for my beloved thermalright ultima 90. :)

my idle temps with the hyper are 37 37 33 36

FULL load temps in the mid to high 60's.

will post here (if i remember to do so) the idle & load temps of the thermalright ultima once i have installed it.

The Frio is a great cooler, no doubt about that but since it was first released, its price has gradually gone up. It's not unrated at all and I've recommended it myself many time. However, anyone who can stretch to £50 should look at the Silver Arrow because it is in a completely different league to the Frio. Having used both and a range of other coolers, the Frio's installation method is nowhere as easy as the others either. Check the link in my sig for a temperature comparison.

Really nice comparison. Thanks for the link. Looks like the next cooler for me will be the Arrow then. Obviously seems to cool the CPU more effectively.

i can now vouch for the silver arrow brought my oc temps down to 74c max from 88c from that of the antec kuhler 620

it is a huge huge heatsync fills up most of my case had to move my ram from slots 1&3 to 2&4 as the cooler is about 3mm too short to clear the first slot but i am very happy and impressed with the cooler :) just fits into my case nicely

That is an absolute beast! And it hurts me inide how much better it is than the Kuhler because I've just bought one, more for the look than the performance though - got it on a good deal too :D - but it still hurts :(

The 620 or 920? 920 is a brilliant performing cooler....one of the best.

i would but i just didnt like my temps going over 80c when overclocked, the silver arrow is a good 10c better at cooling but also much more quiet then that of the h2o
