Morning guys,

Can anyone recommend a decent, sturdy computer desk?

Ideally, with room under the desk so you aren't confined to just squeezing under with your chair.

I'm open to suggestions that people have bought as I am going mad trying to find a suitable desk.

Reasonable budget, around £100-£150.

I just have this solid oak writers desk, only issue with it is theres not much leg room as theres drawers on either side. No room for 3 24" screens either :(

Ikea Pragel kitchen worktop, £30. 246 x 62 cm.

Get some cheap legs, put a brace on a wall, or buy some filing cabinets to support the weight and you've got a massive desk to play with.

Mine is coming on Friday and it will replace another "proper" Ikea desk.

I would say if you are on a very slim budget for £55 the Ikea Besta desk is nice. No drawers but decent area for cables etc. They also do a couple of Malm ones (That look like the Jonas ones) the one with drawers for £125 should do the job well but not sure if it has cable management but ikea also sell the trays that you can fit on the back of the unit to keep cables tidy :)

I had that ikea thing and it was crap and made of cardboard inside it. It started to bow down in the middle and then one day it just got smashed up in rage, thats when i noticed it was full of honeycomb style cardboard.

Bought and assembled this from amazon -

I'l see if I can take a pic of my table with everything on it later (downstairs on laptop and feeling lazy :P )
