Need a decent Hard drive.

Hey folks,

Was planning on Installing windows 7 and buying an External HDD to back up my movies and music.

Now im thinking about just buying a Decent internal hard drive. ( My Current one is a Seagate 500GB I think, it came with an OcUk Bundle ) and installing windows onto that, and using the 500gb one for a secondary drive.


Would something like this

Make a noticable increase in loading times? Such as boot-up and opening firefox etc. I've got a feeling my current drive is a cheapo.

if you want to do this (works really well, do it myself) just buy a smaller drive for windows, you'll find the space unncesary, what you can do is redirect your my documents folder to the other disc, essentially all thats on the C drive is windows and the program files its using
