tube rolling is addictive, stick with stock for about a month to get used to the sound, then get yourself a rocket and see if you can notice the difference (you should easily be able to).

after that i would buy a couple more but don't get too crazy, remember just enjoy the sound and forget about perfecting the setup, once you have a couple of different decent cheap tubes (£10-£20 each) that is all you need.

i wouldn't even bother looking at the £50+ tubes or the likes, no point imo.

guys thats the Aune T1 arrived, Can you tell me if I need to touch the switches on the bottom? My heaphones are the DT770 250OHm versions

leave it on default and listen to your headphones, if you can stick them on full volume and they aren't making your ears bleed then increase it.

otherwise leave them on default. that's how i test to see if it's the right match for the headphones. if you feel they are being underpowered (not loud) then you can increase it.
