Oh yeah! forgot about that one lol. Then you can look like the ultimate haxx0r with your laptop sitting in a café. :D
 
Apart from those mentioned above, maybe try Worms World Party, Dungeon Keeper 2, Mechcommander, Dark Reign 2 or Imperium Galactica 2.

Good games & should play fine on that laptop.
 
I'm sitting here playing a game called warblade ,a remake of an old classic arcade game Galaga.

Great fun, even if you are not of a certain age.
 
empire earth plus + art of conquest add on imo one of the most underated strategy games out
 
Another vote for Diablo2 (with the LoD expansion) - seriously addictive, easy to pick up and play and serious fun. If you can connect the lappy up to another PC, it also provides some of the best multiplayer/co-op hack 'n' slash there is. Sorted :)
 
Thief and Thief 2 will run on that lappy fine, then when you finish them you have all the quality fan missions

Throw on System Shock 2 and Dues Ex and you have months of enjoyment right there.
 
Work + laptop + Half-Life & Expansion packs = t3h w1n

It's got me through some very slow days without tearing my hear out from boredom. Definately a 12hr shift killer.

Another vote for the worms and Diablo 2, but what about homeworld 1? or Age Of Empires ROR etc? Tomb Raider?
