Hey Guys,
I'm looking to build a gaming rig and want to spend £1200, I will be using a standard 1920 by1080 HD monitor and I am really confused at which graphics card I should use in it . There are so many options!
Ok this is the list of options I was thinking of :
GTX 480 SOC

Gainward GeForce GTX 580 "GOOD Edition"
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-141-GW&groupid=701&catid=1914&subcat=1812
a 6950
a 6970
a 5870
and then maybe I could fit in 2 480's in sli or 2 6950's in crossfire
But I heard the drivers for the 6xxx series are crap and 2 480's would emit soooo much heat and power.
Please someone help!!!

580 and be done with it, far better to get one card than going Sli/Xfire. Dont get me wrong, it has its advantages, but not in this particular case.

Sure you can get a single oven for cheaper than runs the same temp

Hehe joke. I'd say +1 to the 580 Lightning. Rocket of a card. :)
