hey guys, I'm buying some new parts sometime this week.

it says under mobo specs

"The Intel G41 Express Chipset is designed to support dual-channel DDR3 1333 (overclocking)/ 1066 /800 architecture, 1333/1066/800 Front Side Bus (FSB), PCIe 1.1, and mutli-core CPUs. It especially includes Intel Fast memory bandwidth and reduces the latency of the memory accesses."

does that mean if I buy

OCZ Platinum 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C7 1333MHz Dual Channel Kit

it simply won't run unless i overclock the mobo's FSB, which is something I have no idea how, or does it mean it'll work, just at a lesser speed untill i overclock.

My full system currently is qx6700 antec 900 the BeQuiet L7 530w psu from ocuk, and a geforce 8800 GTX. i'd be looking at upgrading to a 460 or maybe a 480 if it's not pushing too much of a bottleneck, and ofc if the PSU is up to it.

So I guess i'm asking, which ram should I buy? I want the fastest option, but i'm limited to 4GB.

The native speed of the memory controller is 1066, to get the RAM to run at 1333mhz will require delving into the BIOS and either altering a FSB:RAM multiplier or upping the FSB itself.
