Hi guys, I havent realy been into the scene for a wile. my current rig is a
Athlon X2 7750 black edition, with 2gigs of OCZ DDR2, Gigabyte budget motherboared and a Asus 9800gt. wile the system itself is still playing everything I throw at it. (manages 30-40FPS in DX10 enthusiast settings on warhead)
Its time to hand the system down to my step son, and get my self a half decent rig.
I deffinatly want to get the Asus Crosshair IV formula, as i had the veryfirst crosshair that came out. still got the keyring from it lol.
And im going with the Phenom II X6 1055t black edition.
And either 2 Asus 6950 oc's or 1 asus 9090. for the GPU's
Problem im having is RAM, I remember on my old crosshair it didn't like 800mhz corsair ram at all. And im wondering if their is a optimal set of ram for this MB and chipset that works well. as all the ram i seem to fined all say Intel sandybridge etc. and nothing about being amp chipset compatible.
