So about half a year ago, my £400 roadbike, got the chain cut and stolen. Used to cycle crazy amounts, always been a passion of mine as a child, being free on the road.

Anyhow..i'm still a student..and too afraid to make the same mistake twice..so i'm looking for a decent road bike for an efficient price.

I've found this, but can anyone match it or know any better places?
Also strong sturdy locks that cant be cut?

Where did it get stolen from? Any bike lock can be broken with the right tools and time. You'd be better worrying about where the bike is kept or locked up, and if you absolutely have to leave it out in the open then buy a clunker for £20 and get a decent bike for £400 or thereabouts for serious use.

Was literally in the middle of shoreditch high street..near traffic lights. Although I had those strong rubber wire locks with a padlock combination. should have got a full metal one.. :/ And I have the funds to buy a £400 bike again..but id rather not..go that much.

That bike looks terrible, terrible components, it's cheap for a reason. If you've got £400 to spend, at least spend £350 on a bike that's not going to break in 5 minutes, then another £50 on better security / insurance.

You're cetainly not going to get carbon in your budget, but this seems 'ok' for £350.

If you can stretch your budget a little though, i'd look a this....

Will probably go for the second option...sooner or later. Any links to the strongest locks going?

I wouldn't get that cannondale personally, the frame might be nice but it's not worth 2300 Sora. Have you considered looking for something used? If you're worried about it getting stolen again you might be better off getting a beater.

At this price range you're going to be compromising a lot though. Would it not be wise to at least get a decent alu frame (as the CAAD 8 is), then think about upgrading the groupset later on?

In this price range there's not a huge amount of point upgrading later on - it would cost you as much as a new bike.
