Hey, I'm going on holiday soon and I want to get a nice camcorder that also shoots high res photos 6Mb+
The camcorder needs to be pretty small, something I can just throw in a bag and get on with it. Mainly so when I mountain climb and such it's not a heavy load and doesn't take up much space.
It needs to be SD card, 720p is fine (1280x720) and 30fps is more than adequate, no need for the 60fps mentalness I don't plan on doing slow motions.
Battery life needs to be very good, I looked at the Kodak Zx1 specifically because it ran on AA batterys but I heard about it having a time limit on recording and it has no built in stabilization so the clips on youtube are shaking around farr to much to allow for viewing pleasure.
It needs to cope in low light as well, as I will be using it to record Lan footage which is generally in a big dark halls with loads of bright white monitors ^^
Apart from that the obvious is that it must be a high quality because I plan on video editing almost everything that I take from it in Sony Vegas
