I'm looking for a new case as my one is a tad to small :(

the last time i looked at cases most of them were square steal boxes lol

i have some idea what i want too do with a case but i don't know much about them to decide

I'm going to look into water cooling at some point * i don't know much about that ether atm*

so i need a case that is ideal for water cooling i have a "sapphire pure black 990fx" mother bored it has a Molex connection on the bottom facing down atm its pretty much kissing the bottom of my case lol hence the reason to get a bigger one

i also have a "cooler master V8" heat sink witch is a tad to big for this case as well

i would like the hard drives to be an easy mount ether removable trays or sideways mounting

looks are not much of a concern to me as anything is better then what I'm using unless its a green blob >.<

Agreed, but it has lots of functionality

Yeah, that is the big thing going for it. I still think I'd either go for a 650D for less functionality but better aesthetics, or if I really wanted the Elysiums functionality and had the budget, I might stretch to £190 and buy an Enermax Fulmo GT (internals of an Elysium, looks exactly like a 690ii)... (Or as it's sold on here the OcUK Monolith xD)

Actually, as you've said you don't care about looks in the OP, Elysium might be an idea, or if it's more to your tasting, maybe a HAF X?

Pretty sure you could fit a 240mm into a Corsair 500r. Seen quite a few mods with the CM690ii having a 240 in it, same is true of a bitfenix shinobi. Wouldn't really want to do GPU and CPU on a 240 though, although I guess you could technically get away with it, it wouldn't get you uber temps.

if im going todo water cooling then im going to do evrything
i will have 2 gpu's i duno witch ones yet been finking of the Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 6770
i have 6 pci-e slots *2X16/2X8/2X4*
was going to crossfire as meany as i can >.<
probably pointless lol

so need a case with a lot of room for rads >.<

i know i dont care about looks but it looks crap to much like an alienwear lol + its got a stupid door on the front i have one on this pc i have been so tempted to rip the thing of and have tried once or twice lol

NZXT Phantom Full Tower is wonderful, looks nice yet clean and massive amounts of room on the inside, atm I have a H100 mounted on the top below my 2x200mm fans, so I have 2x200mm fans, radiator then 2x120mm fans under that and it doesn't even get close to the RAM.

Well, if you want Xfire and CPU you need about 360mm of Rad space.....

So to put this across hypothetically you'd need something that could support the OcUK V12.

The cases OcUK will sell you with the V12 in are:
Bitfenix Shinobi XL
HAF X
800D
Monolith Full Tower
Elysium

I'm also pretty sure Shayper managed to get a 360mm into his Phantom. Look at his Project Ghost.

Technically speaking though I reckon you could quite easily fit 2x240mm Rads in a CM690ii, although I think the roof one would have to be half height. You'd also lose most of your HDD bays.....
