I currently have been through 2 Razer Deathadder mice and both of them have suffered from the double click problem.

My latest version of the Deathadder has me unable to click, double clicking and mass clicking with only 1 press and hold.

So i feel its time for an upgrade. My budget is pretty unlimited, but i dont want a £100 mouse for the sake of it.

I pretty much love everything about the Deathadder, size, weight, layout, feel in my hand, for me its the perfect mouse, but the problem is with the double click issue.

I'm currently looking at this one:

As it seems to match the style and size of the Deathadder and there as been a lot of great reviews.

Any suggestions would be great thanks.

Roccat kone is a good choice, got one after my da got the double click problem as well.

Did try a steelseries xai, and it was nice but died after two minutes of use, quality is very hit and miss on them it seems.

Can I suggest the Logitech G9x? The thing doesn't get enough talk, its got a DPI engine up to 5200 and comes with 2 grips, both being really comfortable, I am using the bigger grip as I have bigger hands : )

Also comes with led lights which you can change and you can also set yourself different profiles for games, so that what ever game you play, the lights will change and the dpi settings will change for that game (if you choose it to).

Finnaly, its extremely smooth, I am using an Qpad heatoN XL Gaming Mouse pad and its extremely smooth, it just glides and feels good, however I the mouse by its self runs smooth on any surface.

so yeah theres my recommendation, love this mouse and as I said doesn't get enough praise, its also the successor to the G5 which was the best mouse you could buy back in the day. Theres also a G9, but I would recommend the G9x for a little bit extra for the newer DPI engine : )

What is the double click problem? I've still got my copperhead from many many moons ago, i've tried many of gaming mouses but this one does the trick. First one I had messed up with they're rubbish drivers, so I have chosen not to update this one.

Is this anything to do with the double click prob? Shoddy drivers?

double click problem? I once had that with a really old laser mouse, haven't had that problem again though but one of my other old laser mouses the curser just moves on (a bit) its own without even touching the thing

Have a look at the Mionix Naos 3200/5000.
My cousin has the 3200 and immediately after using it I went and bought the 5000. Amazing mice, youll never want to use anything else.
