Need a new HDD for OS & Programs

Hi,

I'm looking for a new HDD for my OS and programs but I'm not sure which make to go with since most people are talking about SSD which is a bit out of the price I'm willing to spend.

I would like it to be around 300gb if possible but which make do I go with? Last night I ordered a Samsung 1TB HDD since that one is all the rage around here but what HDD do I go with for the OS? Price I'm willing to spend is no more than £50 really.

Will be getting 1 maybe 2 myself next week
