Need a new monitor as mine had packed up, upgrading hole pc at the same time looking at i7-4790, 16gb, GTX770 mite drop to a i5-4690 and/or 8gb to save some money depending on monitor cost, any way so old monitor was a 22" IPS so looking at no less then 22" would like bigger but nothing silly, would like to stick with IPS as I watch films est. as well as play games, would like to go beyond 1080. got £300 to £400 to play with so what you think?

Well if you're looking to go beyond 1080p you're into 27 inch territory for 1440p or a 28 inch 4k. OCuk have a good samsung 27 inch PLS panel for £300. PLS panel is very good in my experience.

I hadn't seen any mention of the bleed issues but I haven't really been researching it into any great detail.

One monitor I would 100% recommend is the Asus PB278q. It is a 27 inch 1440p with a PLs panel and having owned one I can say it is excellent.

It's right at the top end of your budget right enough and cheaper 1440p monitors can be had but I've only ever heard good things about it.

Seen good things about the*Asus*PB278q And that Iit can be overclocked is it worth the extra money? Any one know if the samsung can be overclocked?
