Need a new router - which one?

I've got an ageing Belkin router which is needing lots of resets. ISP is TalkTalk, my speed sits at about 12meg give or take. Happy with what they are providing (they cocked up something admin wise and am literally paying them pennies for the next 12 months) but the router is a bit long in the tooth. Currently have a 16 port Gigabit ProCurve switch with PS3/PS4/WHS/Sonos and other bits and bobs connected to it. This is the only thing hardwired to the router other than the incoming ADSL feed.

Wirelessly there is a Macbook Pro, iPad Air, iPhone 4S and an HTC.

What router shall I buy?

Tempted by the Asus RT-N66U and also the Billion 7800DXL. Those models are in my sort of budget. I would obviously need a modem as well. Any recommendations? or recommendations for a better router?

Speed and stability are the 2 priorities (maybe not in that order either tbh)

Cheers

I bought this one
a few weeks ago & it's doing me fine so the Asus one you posted a higher spec to mine should be more than enough for you.
I'm on Virgin cable running Laptop, Desktop, PS3 & my Moby through it & get the speeds I'm s'posed to.
Was real easy to set up as well & being slim & black it looks nice which is a bonus. :)

Just get a router with a built in modem. The billion has one, also the Asus DSL-N55U and the newer DSL-N66U.

I believe the DSL-N66U also has a vdsl modem in it for fibre connections.

Is the DSL N66u as good as the RT-N66u?

Would an RT-N66U plus an appropriate modem be better than an integrated unit? I honestly don't know, just playing devils advocate.

Got a Draytek Vigor 2710n FS in MM if you are interested. Very good semi-business grade modem+router
:)
