Need a new Wireless router

Hi, my wireless router recently died. I'm using a spare wired one I have but the rest of the family use wireless so I need to get a replacement.

I would like to get some recommendations from people instead of just buying any odd one. My connection speed is only 1MBit so it doesn't need ADSL2+ but I'm guessing they all are now anyway? The range doesn't need to be great as it only needs to reech the kitchen and bedrooms (~12 metres) with few obstacles blocking the signal. I'd rather buy a more quality router over one with lots of unneeded features and unreliability. Also, are there any commercial routers available with bandwidth restricting features? As in you can restrict the amount a device connected to the network can use? With 4 people sharing a low speed connection you can imagine how bad it gets. It'd be nice to allocate a certain amount of bandwidth for someone who keeps downloading all the time and hogging the connection.

My budget is around £40-60 but I'll spend a bit more if I have to.

That's look perfect for what I need. Just one question. Does it have a modem in-built or will I need to purchase a stand alone one? Just want to be sure as it says "lets your whole network share a high-speed cable or DSL Internet connection.".
 
Nope, its a router only i.e. connect as follows:

internet (ADSL or Cable) [WAN]-> Modem -> Router -> Wireless + Wired connections available [LAN]

Does your ISP not provide a modem?
 
No. I think at the time a modem cost extra or they were USB and I already had a router/modem that I purchased before. I could use the router as the modem I already have by bridging it but it's very unreliable and never lasts more than 3 days without dropping the connection and fails to reconnect. I'd rather just buy a seperate modem and save the hassle. Would I need something like this to go with it?

And then I connect this to the routers WAN port via ethernet and all should be good?
 
Good choice. This router/modem combo comes highly recomended here although I have never played with the modem.

You are correct, modem ethernet to router WAN port and all should be well!
