Need a "Professional" email address for my CV...

Heya,

I need a good "looking" email address for the top of my CV. I have a Nottingham uni email address but it is far too long (*****.*******@alumni.nottingham.ac.uk), and my only other one is Hotmail based (not very professional). I have an NHS email address, but I imagine they will scrap that when I leave in August, and i don't want to be tied down to an ISP email...

Any suggestions?!

I found google mail very easy to set up, might be worth a try.

buy a domain for a couple of quid, and have as many emails as you want

FWIW I'd just find a way of fitting your uni e-mail in your CV - it looks good to have a uni alumni address I reckon

D'you have a mobile phone with an e-mail account? I.e. I have rich1lloyd at orange.net which I suppose I might use on a CV if I didn't want to use my Uni one

Yeah or gmail would be good I think if it's basic and your name rather than something like [email protected]

I've set up lots of googlemail accounts for people recently, you don't need an invite...

Nope. Not needed an invite for a while.

Iirc wasn't the invites only for the beta version?

We've started getting all the CV's for summer jobs lately, students, school kids etc.....you couldn't make some of the email addresses up....

Difference between googlemail and gmail though isn't there?
