I recently had a Thermaltake 700w go bad and now left with the decision to find a new PSU or wait out the RMA period from the competitor, as this is for my main rig i would rather not wait for ever, seeking a modular PSU.

E6600 (will be a Q9550 when they get released)
4x1gb DDR2-800 soon to be 3gb after reading about problems with my mobo and 4gb ram,
X38 Maximus Formula
2x 3870 XT
3x Sata HDD's (2x250, 1x500)
1x Dvd-r/w lightscribe
Kandalf LCS Case (currently only the CPU is being WC)
G15 & G9 but doubt they would add much to the draw.

Got a Corsair HX620, couldnt be happier :) thats running ...

Gigabyte DQ6 Mobo
Intel QX6850 + Tuniq Tower 120
4gb Corsair Dominator DDR2 8500
BFG GeForce 8800 GTX 768mb
Corsair HX 620
2x WD Raptor X (RAID 0 Strip)
2x SATA Litescribe DVD-RAM drives
Thermaltake Armour Case + 32cm side fan

Corsair are highly regarded at the moment.Either that or a Seasonic would be fine (have a 600w seasonic here that's utterly silent and totally rock-solid reliable)

You do realise that only Corsair's HX models (the 520w and 620w) are modular right? The TX 750w will have a big fat clump of cables hanging out the back.

sigh...

I dont care anymore... I just want a psu in my case and my rig up and running. Theres room above the dvd drive to shove all the spare cables.
