I need something to help me stay awake, I have to go and take a door off a car at my friends house today and im falling asleep as it is.

I need something that will help me waken up a bit.

Caffeine and coffee doesn't work well at all and for some reason coffee gives me a laxative effect :o
So those are counted out.

Anything else that could be weird and wonderful to help me wake up a bit?

What time is it there?

Seriously, I've been in your position before and if you're falling as it is, the best solution is a power-nap :)

Its 12:25pm here. It might be day time but i got a big headache yesterday and went to sleep during the day and messed my sleeping pattern up and now ive been up all night :o

Hmm. Two things you can do then:

1) Call and cancel, get your sleep sorted and do it another time.
or
2) Go and do it now so you don't have to fight fatigue (might wake you up).

Ugh, how I hated college days when I hadn't slept. Always made me feel so crap. It happened a lot :( I used to get regular insomnia.

Ill try a 15-20 minute power nap.

Im gonna nap with more power then i have ever napped before :p

Thanks all.

Ill talk to you lot when im bright eyed and bushy tailed again.

And once ive fixed the door :p

Hah. Try to keep your head clear of thoughts and worry about getting up because that'll only stop you sleeping ;)

you're sitting here bored with nothing to occupy your mind, if you went to fix the door it will keep your mind and body active, aswell as talking to a real person you won't feel as tired as you really are. i've done it a few times :p

When I go for a powernap for 15-20 minutes, I always wake up 10 hours later. No matter how many alarms I have on.

to stay awake i've recently found an xbox 360 and a copy of saints row does wonders.
last night i was up till a similar hour to this...and again i was playing saints row...just couldn't stop and tiredness wasn't even considered :D

Im back :D

I took a 20-40 minute power nap. It worked quite well and i only started get tired when the door inards were going back together.

Im also coverd in fiber glass because we used fibre glass putty to fill up some holes that some rust we removed left behind

Other then that im now nacked and am gonna go to bed ina few minutes. Night all :D
