need a quiter cpu cooler

hi

currently have a cosmos s case running full set of red wing 120mm fans x 6 17db noise lvl

and 1 x 250mm case fan cooler master

problem is the cpu cooler is so noisy alaska evo blue and it aint too good a cooling either constantly getting bunged up due to plastic surrond.

current temps whilst running:

WAR game in back ground
downloading
surfing
picture file transfering
& working in excel

39 39 36 36 cpu q6600 @ 3.3ghz

just a problem with the damn fan on the cooler

spec me a new cooler not two worried on price as long as it dose the job and is quite

If you're after silence, then either the Noctua HSF, or a TRUE with a Noctua fan are your best bets.

Your temps look fine so you could just get a replacement fan (Noctua or Akasa amber are very good) which would save a bit of money/effort

dose anyone have any experience of the Scythe Orochi CPU Cooler as it seems to be the quitest around...

At 1.3 kilograms, I'd not reccomend it if you ever want to move your PC, for fear of it snapping your mobo in half :eek:
