hi guys

been given £100 for a camera

to be honest - i havent got a clue what i should be looking out for
im a bit of a newbie.

could you give me a list of features i should look for?

i was thinking of going for a sony mainly due to me having a lot of memory sticks and most of my media devices have memory stick support.

what camera would you suggest for this price bracket?
 
Are you after a little point and click? I presume you are? I personally feel that with a budget of £100 ... there is very little apart from one to another. Sony's are pretty good cameras, as are Canon's (personally I would buy a Panasonic Lumix, but I just like them). Have a look at dpreview at some of the higher rated cameras and see what suits. :)
