Need a run around, suggestions please.

I drove it for the first time today, I got 37 MPG on a 2 hour drive through London with a average speed of 14mph. I Also did a 150mile run up the M1 at around 90mph and got only 40mpg.

These things are heavily connected

I got 47mpg average on a 30 mile journey the other day in a 1.8t FSI a3...I should hope you will get more than that!

Yeah.. Small engine+high speed=low mpg
