¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Managed to snap this today, so I now need a replacement:

I think this type might have "twin grab thread", but no where seems to have these. Tried screwfix, toolstation and B&Q, so perhaps there is somewhere better to get screws like this?

It needs to be the same thread as the corresponding thread already exists...

i'm SURE i saw those when i was in B&Q on saturday...
Well to be fair I've only tried their (useless) website, I'll try going in person later on...
Just looks like a normal screw to me!

Do you have any small time DIY shops close by?
It's not, it has 2 threads, one deeper than the other...
What's it for, any need for it to be identical?

try an online screw store.
It's from a PA speaker (Mackie SRM450), and it has 10 of these screws holding the plastic cabinet together... The screw goes straight into the plastic go the thread has already been made, so I need one with the same thread and length ideally. The cabinet needs to be airtight for it to work properly. :)

I've only tried a few online stores but I'm not really sure what I'm looking for apart from a screw! :o

The same old drill. Click on a thread expecting to hear about a guy waiting to nail a girl, but instead it's just a bore. I wish I saw it coming :(

If you can't find an exact match, you can do two things.

1: Use a slightly bigger screw (as in diameter)
2: Fill the hole with epoxy, drill when set, use a similar new screw.
