Hey,

I want to turn my Dell 2001FP into a makeshift TV when I get a new monitor. I'm basically looking for the smallest possible Freeview box which has either an S-Video or Composite output.

Does anyone know of such a best?! :D

Cheers,

Su

P.S. Even a normal analogue tuner would do!

Cool thanks dude... forgot to mention another requirement though - cheap please!

The actual DM500 is about £50? By "clones" I assume you mean cheap far eastern rip off :D what should I be Googling for?

Cheers,

Su

The price you've mentioned is about right so you've probably already found it. I don't think you'll find them much cheaper than that unfortunately. Some of the cool things you can do include streaming the video to a networked computer or the internet and you can play videos from a network storage device too.

Hey,

Looks like an awesome device, but this is just gonna be a second TV for my mum, so don't really need anything that fancy :D do you know of any cheaper/simpler ones?

Cheers,

Su
