Need advice for a £600+ Upgrade - Help appreciated as im new to upgrades!

Would stick with the two I've quoted above , the Taichi is one of two of the best and boards you can get and that deal is killer .
Gaming 3 is the best budget b350 adding a 1700 to the mix.
If your after ASRock, get the taichi

Just to bring the punch on the two I quote @Journey @Plec

Sweet thanks man, I will get my friend to read up this forum and make some recommendations for me!

When i click on the Ryzen link on overclockers it says in title its 3.6GHZ but what it doesnt tell you that is the speed it runs when overclocked and i dont think i will be overclocking my PC.

  • 3,2 GHz Base- & 3.6 GHz Turbo Clock with Precision Boost <-- this is what is stated in the description of the product (Im guessing this means it runs at 3.6GHz if it is overclocked but only 3.2GHz if not overclocked?)
I may be wrong but i am not sure.

Lets say i am set on the two setups i gave you earlier would you just recommend me to get a bigger board just so it fills the case more?
I plan on sticking a small figure of Rick in the case which will be sitting at the bottom if there is enough space! =P

i dont know then if im honest, not all of the items given details of turbo mode, never owned a ryzen and my i3 was locked, so 3.6ghz was what i had to use, i wouldnt worry too much, they a 6 core 12 thread processor so you got plenty of grunt and if its like an old i5 2 core 4 thread i had in a laptop, it pretty much used its turbo mode most the time,

i wasnt suggesting get an ATX board just to fill the case, but they do tend to offer more features etc over a micro atx and assuming i saw the right case on OC website then you would have plenty of space to stick your funko pop figure in it.
