Hey I'm trying to build a PC for under £600 that would be primarily used for gaming, this is what I've come up with and was planning to order but I have very limited experience and need some confirmation that I will have a decent machine out of what I have chosen or if there better components in my price range.

Ok cool good to know, do you have any fan or heat-sink recommendations I've read the Intel heat-sink is quite loud. I could stretch to £650 for being a little extra cool and quiet.

For gaming on a budget skip the SSD, it makes a nice difference outside of games but inside you won't notice anything. Gives you an extra £84 to spend on other things that would actually benefit gaming.

Thanks again for the suggestions guys, I think I'm going go for Doomedspeeds latest suggestion with the Silverstone Strider I chose, SSD can come at a later date. Also can that cpu be overclocked?

Yes it can, but with the B Grade motherboard it may be missing parts like the rear I/O shield.

You could try emailing Gigabyte if it does turn up without one.

They don't normally say, they did go through them a while ago and did list what the boards come with.

id have the i5 instead of an SSD, you can always buy an SSD when they get cheaper, an SSD is a worthy upgrade, but expensive for all the size you get, + you would fill it in no time :)
