Need advice with memory

[Digital heavens]

Need to know whats the difference is with 6400 (800Mhz) and 8500+ (1066Mhz).
Im bulding a computer for my self and need maximum ram for modeling in 3d.
I can have:
4Gb (4 x 1GB) 8500+ (1066Mhz)
or
8Gb (4 x 2Gb) 6400 (800Mhz)

What would you recomend, speed or amount?

Well 8gb of any speed will always beat 4gb of any speed.
