Hello,

I recently purchased an Asus TUF DASH F15, NVIDIA RTX 3060, i7 11370, 8GB Ram and I wanted to add another ram bar to this laptop.
However, is it worth it to go from 8GB to 16GB of ram and if what type of ram should I purchase as I am a complete beginner .

Many thanks,
WH

Hi

It definately worth upgrading to 16gb as thats optimal amount for gaming, theres one memory upgrade slot on your laptop according to the spec.

This is what you need.

8GB DDR4-3200mhz SODIMM

Make sure is sodimm as that for laptops.

Hello

I've got Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 PC4-25600C16 3200MHz Dual Channel Kit running on my Ryzen 1700 (oc to 3.3) but would like to know whether it is worth using this RAM in a new build or should I get 3600mhz c18 RAM for the 3000/5000 cpus. I'm doing a new build and curious to find out whether I should get 3600 over my existing 3200. it's going to be either a 3900 or 5700. video wise I've already got a 5700xt Red Devil waiting to be used.
If you guys and girls recommend different RAM I'm all ears.

It is worth since you have a 3060

Yes! You Might add another RAM bar to your PC if you want enough overhead to keep playing new releases in the future, 16GB of RAM is recommended. For more details of RAM must know from here. And for other purposes like video editing or anything then than just gaming, consider 32GB of storage. It will be enough.

It is worth it to upgrade from 8GB to 16GB of RAM, as it will provide a noticeable performance boost. The type of RAM you should purchase depends on the type of RAM your laptop currently has. You can usually find this information in the laptop's manual or by looking up the laptop's specs online. Generally, you should look for RAM that is compatible with your laptop's motherboard and has the same speed and latency as the RAM that is already installed.
