PROCESSOR

Intel Core i7-3770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core CPU OR INTEL I5 3570K

RAM

Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 OR G.SKILL RIPJAWSX 16GB (2X8GB) DD

POWER SUPPLY

EVGA 650W Fully Modular Power Supply OR XFX CORE SERIES 650 WATT PSU

CPU COOLER

ARCTIC FREEZER I30 or Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

Before we do that, what is the use of your PC? Gaming?

Will you be overclocking?

Any other programs you'll be using it for? Hpto-editing/video editing, CAD work?

The "comparisons" above are meaningless without this context.

Well if it's just for gaming you won't need 16GB of RAM, 8GB is fine.. Don't go for corsair Vengeance.. Though Vengeance LP and Vengeance Pro are good. Low profile RAm is good as it won't clash with air coolers (k2, D14).

As it's just gaming (and i assume no Xfire/sli will take place) the 4670k is perfect. Though if you're not overclocking you wont need the K version.

Also you won't need a Z87 chipset board, a H87/B85 will suffice.. Why have you gonna for Ivybridge?

Cooler-wise they are poles apart in perfformance and price.. So whats the point of comparing them?

Just be realistic about it, if you're not overclocking then both the z77 and K processors are a premium you're paying, for something you don't need, and not only that they're on an older generation socket now(1155). If you're buying new, you'd be better served moving onto socket 1150 and a Haswell chip (in terms of pricing, they're both around the same price point at the moment, so why invest in older tech?)..
